Be My Heart, be Your Eye

Wealthy heir Tim marries his equally matched fiancée for family interests, coldly abandoning Laura—his assistant with whom he secretly dated for three years. Suffering from critical heart failure, Laura tries to confess but is rejected. Heartbroken and desperate, she intends to donate her corneas to her childhood blind playmate named Tim before dying... unaware this very Tim is now her ex-lover himself, adopted & restored to sight. During her resignation, Laura repeatedly faces bullying and framing by Tim's fiancée; she even collapses near death during an attack, yet Tim only believes his fiancée's lies—missing countless chances to recognize her. Outwardly indifferent while growing possessive toward Laura, Tim secretly protects her but keeps harming her due to misunderstandings and others'schemes until she utterly loses hope. Egged on by his fiancée, Tim ignores Laura's deteriorating condition until she teeters on death's edge; only thanks to Second Male Lead's intervention does she survive a heart transplant recovery. Finally realizing his true feelings, Tim gives up everything to chase after her—but returns as Second Male Lead's fiancée. Tim embarks on an arduous journey to win her back. Just as Laura softens toward him, his ex-fiancée kidnaps and attempts to murder her; Tim sacrifices himself to save her, sustaining fatal wounds. On his deathbed, he reveals his identity and offers his heart for donation. Deeply shaken, Laura learns the truth. Miraculously surviving, Tim resolutely chooses Laura. His ex-fiancée fails in another assassination attempt when stopped by Second Male Lead, ultimately receiving just punishment.
