Call Time

Call Time follows Ellie Brooks, a 28-year-old first-time director with a cross LA-London accent, shooting at the Ballard Estate, the English manor where her parents made their last film together. After her father gambled away her inheritance and died, this is the only dream she has left. As production begins, Ellie juggles a volatile lead actor she's sleeping with, a crew teetering on chaos, and the arrival of her estranged brother Oliver, who discovers she's been funding the film with money siphoned from his accounts. When her lead walks off set, Ellie must convince her best friend and 1st AD, Ruben, to step in front of the camera, confronting what she'll sacrifice for this film.
