Chelsea, an ordinary gray werewolf, endures 99 disappointments from her family and mate Ryan, who all dote on her snow-white wolf sister Miranda. On Chelsea’s biennial Distinguished Service Award day, Miranda, driven by jealousy, hires rogue wolves to trap her in the basement. Fatally injured, Chelsea begs for help, but her family dismisses her as attention-seeking and severs their pack bond. After her death, Chelsea’s spirit lingers, watching her family slander her and frame her for harming Miranda. It’s not until her father finds a moonstone recording her final moments that the truth—Miranda’s plot, family neglect, and Ryan’s betrayal—is exposed. Miranda is exiled and dies miserably, while Ryan and Chelsea’s family are consumed by irreversible guilt, leading to tragic fates. At last, Chelsea’s weary spirit finds peace, leaving a tragic tale of favoritism, betrayal, and too-late remorse.
