Empress Josie of Gobury, having gained weight after childbirth, lost Emperor Alfred's favor. Consort Sylvia orchestrated Josie's public humiliation and eventual murder, only for a modern medical student to transmigrate into her body. The new Josie took revenge on Sylvia but was banished to the cold palace. There, she used a shopping system for advanced technology and her medical skills to transform herself. At a banquet for Alfred's grandfather Vince, she captivated everyone with her beauty and intellect, upstaging Sylvia with futuristic gifts and healing Vince. When a rival nation challenged Gobury, Josie used high-tech gadgets to secure victory and expose traitors, becoming a revered empress. Though Alfred dissolved his harem to win her love, Josie rejected him and chose freedom, departing the palace with Vince to explore the world.
