Cameron Porras's Dramas

Cameron Porras is a Maumelle, Arkansas kid with a cowboy streak who built a couple million TikTok followers on a single running joke: that he is, by his own cheerful admission, not that cool. He took almost nothing to New York at nineteen, modeled for the likes of Versace, and turned that same watchability into a second career leading vertical dramas. The titles do the comedy for him: Surrender to My Dominant Doctor, I Accidentally Sexted My Enemy, and one called simply Vicious, in which he plays a man named, with a straight face, Baron Vicious Spencer. He is one of the most-watched leading men in the format, which is the whole joke, given how hard he insists he is nothing special. Off camera he runs a clothing label called, naturally, Not That Cool, and writes poetry. For a self-described nobody, the cowboy from Arkansas shines at a scale that makes the modesty routine very funny.
